Eldbjørg Hemsing starts the new year with a trip to Colombia, performing two concerts and a recital on 5, 6 and 7 January at this year’s Nordic themed Cartagena Festival.

Back in Scandinavia, she records and performs Hillborg’s Violin Concerto No.2 and Kväll in an all-Hillborg programme with Swedish Radio Orchestra under the baton Esa-Pekka Salonen on 18 and 19 January, just after having played at the opening ceremony of the NHO conference in Oslo with Oslo Philharmonic on 9 January.

To round up this vivid start to 2024, Eldbjørg performs at the opening ceremony of the European Capital Bodø on 3 February, a show with actors on a floating stage at the harbour.
