Seven HarrisonParrott artists have been nominated for Grammy awards 2018.
The categories and nominees are as follow:
“Mahler: Symphony No.5″ — Osmo Vänskä, conductor (Minnesota Orchestra)
“Handel: Messiah” — Sir Andrew Davis, conductor; Noel Edison, chorus master (Elizabeth DeShong, John Relyea, Andrew Staples and Erin Wall; Toronto Symphony Orchestra; Toronto Mendelssohn Choir)
Chamber Music/Small Ensemble performance:
“Death & the Maiden” — Patricia Kopatchinskaja and the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra
“Crazy Girl Crazy — Music by Gershwin, Berg & Berio” — Barbara Hannigan (LUDWIG)
“Kurtág: Complete Works for Ensemble & Choir” — Reinbert de Leeuw, conductor; Guido Tichelman, producer, Tamara Stefanovich performs Quasi una fantasia and the Double concerto with Asko|Schönberg Ensemble
Surround Sound Album and Engineered album, classical:
