Estonian bass Ain Anger and Canadian soprano Erin Wall sing Mahler’s Symphony No.8 at Tanglewood under Andris Nelsons on 8 August.

Highly acclaimed for her performances of Mahler’s concert works, Erin regularly sings Mahler’s Symphonies Nos.2 and 4 – most recently with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Royal Scottish National Orchestra (both under Sir Andrew Davis) – as well as Symphony No.8 which she has previously sung under Christoph Eschenbach with Houston Symphony amongst others.

Ain has previously performed Symphony No.8 under Mariss Jansons with Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, and both Ain and Erin appear on the recording of the same work under Paavo Järvi with hr- Sinfonieorchester, released on DVD by Unitel Classica.
