Adding to his list of conducting debuts this season Daniel Blendulf makes his Finnish debut in a concert with the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra on 15 May.

Blendulf conducts Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.1 and Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No.3, with Alexander Gavrylyuk as soloist. The programme opens with Ligeti’s Concert Românesc.

Blendulf returns to Finland to conduct the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra in a programme of Webern, Schumann and Mendelssohn at the beginning of next season.
