Daniel Blendulf debuts with Zürcher Kammerorchester
30/1/2015
This week Daniel Blendulf makes his debut with Zürcher Kammerorchester conducting concerts in Basel (2 February) and Zurich (3 February).
The programme opens with Kraus’ Olympic Overture and also features Beethoven’s Violin Concerto and Symphony No.4. Benjamin Beilman performs as soloist in Basel, and Isabelle Faust joins the orchestra in Zurich.
This performance is one of several significant debuts for Blendulf this season. Earlier this month he made his UK debut when working with BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and later this year he will conduct the Sydney and New Zealand Symphony Orchestras, and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.
