14/11/2014
On 20 November Daniel Blendulf makes his Norwegian debut, performing with the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra. He conducts Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture, Scriabin’s Piano Concerto with soloist Gunilla Süssmann, and Schumann’s Symphony No.1.
Blendulf is already a well-recognised musician elsewhere in Scandinavia and has received much critical acclaim in his native Sweden, with Sydsvenskan referring to him as “a conductor of pure quality”.
Recent Scandinavian engagements include concerts with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Swedish Chamber Orchestra and the Swedish Radio and Gothenburg Symphony Orchestras. He will return to Norway later this season, February 2015, for a performance with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra.
