Two outstanding young artists — conductor Daniel Blendulf and violinist Esther Yoo – make their Spanish debuts together in a concert with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Tenerife on 29 May.

In an all-Sibelius programme featuring some of the composer’s most iconic pieces, Yoo is soloist in the Violin Concerto and Blendulf conducts Finlandia and Symphony No.5.

Blendulf’s conducting debuts next season include engagements with the Sydney Symphony and Gothenburg Symphony orchestras. Yoo recently recorded the Sibelius Concerto with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Vladimir Ashkenazy.
