David Zinman returns to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for two concerts at the Ravinia Festival on 9 and 10 August. The two programmes feature Brahms’ Symphonies Nos.2 and 4, as well as Bernstein’s Symphony No.2 The Age of Anxiety (with Misha Dichter) and Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto (with Gil Shaham).

Forthcoming highlights of Zinman’s 2016/17 season include a semi-staged production of Barber’s Vanessa with Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, and concerts with NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich and Radio-Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart des SWR.
