On 29 September, David Zinman will conduct the German premiere of Sciarrino’s La Nuova Euridice, featuring Barbara Hannigan at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. The programme will also include Stravinsky’s Apollon Musagète and Berlioz’ Suite from Les Troyens.
David Zinman’s other 2017/18 season highlights include concerts with Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra for their 100th anniversary season, Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Orchestre de Paris and performances at the Lugano Festival.
Future singing highlights for Hannigan this season include concerts with Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia with Antonio Pappano, recitals in Europe and North America with Reinbert de Leeuw, and much-anticipated opera performances at Staatsoper Hamburg, Opéra National de Paris and London’s Royal Opera House.
