Martin Fröst returns to perform with the NHK Symphony Orchestra in Japan on 9 and 10 November, where he performs Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto under the baton of David Zinman.
The programme also features Górecki’s Symphony No.3 with soprano Joanna Kozłowska. Zinman remains with the orchestra for three further concerts. On 13 November he conducts Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.5 with Ji-Young Lim in Seoul, and then on 19 and 20 November he leads two all-Schumann programmes with Leif Ove Andsnes in Tokyo.
Following these concerts in Japan, Fröst looks forward to touring through the new year with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, and will continue to uphold his position of Artistic Partner with The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra during several concerts through February.
