On 21 May Akiko Suwanai makes her recital debut at Wigmore Hall with pianist Enrico Pace as part of the Avex Recital Series, performing works by Mozart, Grieg, Takemitsu and Franck. 

Prior to this recital, they completed a successful six-date recital tour of Japan in April. This debut and the tour coincide with the launch of Suwanai and Pace’s first recital album together on Decca.

At the end of the month, Akiko returns to Japan to tour with St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra and Yuri Temirkanov.
