Constantinos Carydis returns to Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg on 17 December to conduct them in Beethoven’s Symphony No.7, Strauss’ Sextet from Capriccio and Concerto for Oboe and Small Orchestra.
The concert follows Carydis’ successful debut with the orchestra in December 2014 when they performed Shostakovich’s Symphony No.10. He will return to the Mozarteum again in August 2016 for his Salzburger Festspiele debut when he conducts them in a Mozart matinee concert.
Other upcoming European highlights this season include debuts with Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine, Berner Symphonieorchester, Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, as well as his return to Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Münchner Philharmoniker and Frankfurter Museumgesellschaft. He will also return to Oper Frankfurt for a new production of Carmen.
