On 12 September Constantinos Carydis travels to the Enescu Festival to conduct the Bayerisches Staatsorchester in the Great Orchestras of the World concert series. Performing in the Grand Palace Hall, he conducts Shostakovich’s Symphony No.5 and Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto with Pierre-Laurent Aimard.

The performance follows Carydis’ impressive conducting of Pelléas et Mélisande with Bayerische Staatsoper in July as part of the Münchner Opernfestspiele.
