Constantinos Carydis conducts Pelléas et Mélisande at Bayerische Staatsoper

Constantinos Carydis opens Christiane Pohle’s new production of Pelléas et Mélisande at the Bayerische Staatsoper on 28 June as part of the Münchner Opernfestspiele.
Earlier this season Carydis also conducted Don Giovanni at the house. During the current period, he additionally conducts the Festspiel-Konzert der Orchesterakademie in the Münchner Opernfestspiele on 20 July in a programme to include Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No.3, Stravinsky’s Dumbarton Oaks, Mozart’s Ch’io mi scordi di te and newly-commissioned Litany in the Time of Plague by Iain Bell.
