Edo de Waart conducts The Cleveland Orchestra at the Blossom Music Festival on 30 August. The programme opens with Bruch’s Violin Concerto with Gil Shaham as soloist, and the second half of the concert features Mahler’s Symphony No.1

This season de Waart returns to many orchestras with whom he has a strong relationship, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chicago and Sydney symphony orchestras. He also conducts two programmes with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, where he is Conductor Laureate.
