Hannu Lintu conducts the Aspen Festival Orchestra on 19 July at the Aspen Music Festival. The repertoire for the evening includes Richard Strauss’ Don Juan, Steven Mackey’s Stumble to Grace with pianist Orli Shaham, and Sibelius’ Symphony No.5.

This performance marks Lintu’s return to the Festival following his debut there in 2014. Next month he conducts Alban Berg’s Wozzeck at the Helsinki Festival, while in November he returns to the United States to conduct the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra with violinist Hilary Hahn.
