On 28 August Hannu Lintu conducts Alban Berg’s Wozzeck at the Helsinki Festival. The performance is at the Helsinki Music Centre and features bass baritone Florian Boesch, soprano Karita Mattila and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. 

The following week Lintu opens the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra​’s 2015/16 season with concerts on 2 and 3 September featuring Sibelius’ tone poem The Oceanides and Violin Concerto (with Elina Vähälä), and Kalevi Aho’s Symphony No.16 with mezzo soprano Virpi Räisänen. Later in the season, in May 2016, Lintu returns to Finnish National Opera to conduct Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde.
