On 10 June Hannu Lintu makes his debut with the NCPA Orchestra at Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts.

The concert includes music by Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich, as well as Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with pianist Haochen Zhang.

Later in June Lintu travels again to Asia, returning to the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra for a concert at Seoul Arts Center on 22 June. Boris Giltburg appears as soloist in Grieg’s Piano Concerto, while the concert also features Wagner’s Flying Dutchman Overture and Sibelius’ Symphony No.5.
