Angela Hewitt joins the Hamburger Symphoniker and conductor Jeffrey Tate to perform Manuel de Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain at Hamburg’s Laeiszhalle on 21 June. Bringing the Hamburger Symphoniker’s 2015/16 season to a close, the concert also includes performances of Chabrier’s España, Roberto Gerhard’s Dances from Don Quixote, and Ravel’s Rhapsodie espagnole.

Last month Hewitt performed Nights in the Gardens of Spain with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and Kazuyoshi Akiyama in three concerts which also saw her perform Ravel’s Piano Concerto in D for Left Hand.
