John Daszak appears with London Philharmonic Orchestra in London and Paris

Following an impressive array of operatic accolades this season John Daszak returns to the concert stage, joining a top line up of soloists for Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Vladimir Jurowski. Performances, at the Royal Festival Hall on 1 March and Theatre des Champs-Elysées on 2 March, also feature soloists Emma Bell, Anna Stéphany and Gerald Finley.
A versatile concert artist, Daszak also performed the work at the Royal Albert Hall earlier in the season, as well as Verdi’s Messa da Requiem in Sydney, Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde in Milan and Schoenberg’s Gurrelieder at the Enescu Festival in Bucharest. The current season has also been one of outstanding operatic success including his debut as Siegfried at the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Alexei in Dutch National Opera’s production of The Gambler, the title role of Der Zwerg for Bayerische Staatsoper and Aegisth in Elektra at Royal Opera House with Andris Nelsons.
