Santtu-Matias Rouvali opens Philharmonia Orchestra’s London season as principal conductor on 26 September at Royal Festival Hall. He is joined by Sir Stephen Hough as soloist, performing Grieg’s Piano Concerto. The programme also includes the London premiere of María Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir’s Oceans with soprano Johanna Rusanen, baritone Tommi Hakala, and Sibelius’ Kullervo.
