On 18 August, the Royal Albert Hall hosts Swiss pianist Francesco Piemontesi, together with Ulster Orchestra under the baton of Daniele Rustioni with a performance of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.4. Piemontesi, renowned for his exquisite renditions of music from the Viennese Classic period, brings an intricate balance of emotional intensity and technical finesse to this timeless classic which bridges the Classical and Romantic eras. The LA Times praised Piemontesi’s rendition of this concerto as ​“unaffected, alternately sparkling and passionately inward performance.”
