Pierre-Laurent Aimard appears alongside Petr Popelka and Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin on 9 March, performing Schönberg’s Concerto for piano and orchestra. Aimard’s mastery of 20^th-century repertoire is very much on display in this challenging work, which he has performed previously in Berlin to critical acclaim notably with Berliner Philharmoniker in 2010 and Deutsche Sinfonieorchester Berlin in 2018. The concert is set to be broadcast on 17 March on Deutschlandfunk Kultur.
