Pierre-Laurent Aimard joins Ingo Metzmacher and Filarmonica della Scala in Milan next week on 23, 24 and 25 January to perform Como una ola de fuerza y luz by Luigi Nono alongside soprano Serena Sáenz, with Paolo Zavagna as sound director. The programme also features Shostakovich’s Symphony No.4. 

Nono’s avant-garde composition for soprano, piano, orchestra, and magnetic tape originally saw its world premiere at La Scala in 1972 with Maurizio Pollini on piano with Claudio Abbado conducting.

The concert on 25 January is scheduled for a livestream broadcast on LaScalaTv at 19:45 CET. The show will be available on demand until 1 February 2024.
