Aivis Greters travels to Germany to lead Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin in a concert at Philharmonie Berlin on 10 March. The programme features Maija Einfelde’s And a Tricolour Sun Shines on Everything…, Richard Wagner’s Wesendonck-Lieder with mezzo soprano Okka von der Damerau, and Bruckner’s Symphony No.3, dedicated to Wagner. The concert is set to be broadcast on Deutschlandfunk Kultur on 12 March.

He then heads to Riga to conduct Riga Sinfonietta in two concerts on 22 March and 23 March. On the programme are Mozart’s Flute Concerto No.2 and Beethoven’s Symphony No.3, before returning to Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra to present the same symphony, this time preceded by Unsuk Chin’s Subito con forza on 27 March.
