Alina Pogostkina returns to Aarhus Symphony Orchestra to perform Brahms’ Violin Concerto in two concerts on 22 February in Aarhus and 23 February in Viborg. Under the baton of Gabriel Venzago, for whom these concerts mark his Danish debut, this Brahms-focused programme also includes Rihm’s Nähe Fern No.2 and Brahms’ Symphony No.2. Rihm’s small piece is written specifically for and about the Brahms Symphony as a conversation between the two works.
