Alina Pogostkina returns to MDR Musiksommer for concerts with MDR Sinfonieorchester Leipzig under the baton of Dennis Russel Davies in Görlitz, Bad Elster and Ludwigsburg on 1, 2 and 9 July. In all three concerts she performs Vaughan Williams’ ecstatic romance The Lark Ascending.

Soon after her concerts with MDR Sinfonieorchester, she travels to Salzburg to perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto with the Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg and Jörg Widmann at the Salzburg Festival on 12 and 13 August.
