Sakari Oramo joins NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester in Hamburg for an exciting programme of works small and large comprising Shostakovich’s pared-back Chamber Symphony for Strings and Janacek’s gargantuan Sinfonietta. Alina Pogostkina also stars, taking the spotlight in Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No.1.
