This October, Arts Partnerships & Tours take London Philharmonic Orchestra to National Concert Hall Taipei for two concerts on 10 and 11 October. Conductor Edward Gardner brings all his sense of drama, and violinist William Wei – praised by critics for his ​‘unique, sensitive sound’ – dazzles with the virtuosic and brooding Sibelius for a programme all about the Romantic imagination, whether the storm-tossed melodies of Mendelssohn’s Scottish seascape, or the icy vistas and fiery heart of Sibelius’ only violin concerto.
