Matilda Lloyd is on the list of outstanding young artists on the roster for the 2024/25 season’s ECHO rising stars lineup, which has featured exceptional artists like Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Jörg Widmann, Noa Wildschut and the Goldmund Quartet in past seasons. Matilda was nominated by the Barbican Centre London with Konserthuset Stockholm and is on the roster along with Carlos Ferreira, clarinet, Benjamin Kruithof, cello, Sào Soulez Larivière, viola, Lukas Sternath, piano, and Quatuor Agate.

Through the collaborative efforts of twenty three of Europe’s leading concert halls, the ECHO Rising Stars embark on an exhilarating journey. The programme empowers these young artists with an unparalleled platform to perform on some of Europe’s most prestigious stages, actively engage in outreach activities, partake in bespoke commissions for new music, and seize invaluable opportunities for their professional development through customized workshops and mentorship schemes.
