Violist Timothy Ridout travels to Australia for the first time as he undertakes a whopping 9‑concert chamber music tour with flautist Adam Walker and harpist Anneleen Lenaerts. Organised by Musica Viva Australia, their programme – ​‘Among the Birds and the Trees’ – features a plethora of harmonically lush and lyrically indulgent works by the likes of Debussy, Messiaen, Takemitsu, Benjamin, Telemann and Gubaidulina. Audiences across Australia can catch them at various venues in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle, Canberra and Perth between 26 April and 14 May.
