Sakari Oramo returns to BBC Symphony Orchestra in his role as Chief Conductor. Performing a fascinating selection of works by Bacewicz, Mozart, Elgar, Dvořák and Szymanowski, he will be joined by a plethora of soloists across three concerts including wave-making violist Timothy Ridout and the prodigious violinist Johan Dalene on 10 February in what promises to be a spectacular rendition of Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for violin and viola. Audiences can catch any one of the three concerts at the Barbican Centre on 3 and 10 February or at Saffron Hall on 5 February.
