GOLDA SCHULTZ MAKES HER DEBUT WITH BOSTON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Soprano Golda Schultz is poised for her debut with the renowned Boston Symphony Orchestra. Under the baton of Andris Nelsons, Schultz will perform Jean Sibelius’ mesmerizing tone poem, Luonnotar, on 20, 21 and 22 April at the Boston Symphony Hall, followed by a performance at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall on 25 April. This challenging and captivating composition tells the Finnish mythological story of creation and features a notoriously demanding vocal part, a perfect showcase for Schultz’s breathtaking range and dynamic artistry.
The program will also feature the sensational violinist, Anne-Sophie Mutter, in the highly anticipated American premiere of Thomas Adès’ Air for Violin and Orchestra. This concert promises to be a sublime showcase of virtuosity and musicianship, offering audiences an unforgettable night of musical mastery.
After her debut with Boston Symphony Orchestra, Schultz will be joining the Glyndebourne Festival Opera as Lidoine for their upcoming production of Dialogues des Carmélites.
