Golda Schultz is awarded this year’s Kulturpreise Bayern Special Prize. Culture Minister Markus Blume announced this acknowledgement of her outstanding commitment to her art, ​“a fantastic firework of tones fills the stage when Golda Schultz sings: she is a gifted soprano who conquers the great stages of the world with extraordinary energy, great versatility and a fantastic voice!”

The awards ceremony takes place in Munich on Thursday 10 November and broadcast live here.
