Javier Perianes makes his fourth appearance with Los Angeles Philharmonic for three concerts on 25, 26 and 27 November. Previous appearances include 2016 with Pablo Heras-Casado (Ravel), and 2017 and 2019 with Gustavo Dudamel (Mozart and Beethoven). This week, Perianes performs Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No.5 under the baton of Gustavo Gimeno. The concerts, at Walt Disney Concert Hall, are recorded for deferred radio broadcast, and also feature the North American premiere of Francisco Coll’s Aqua Cinerea, and Shostakovich’s Symphony No.5.
