Javier Perianes takes up residency with Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia in the 2022/23 season, beginning with concerts on 7 and 8 October under the baton of Otto Tausk. He performs Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No.5 ​‘Egyptian’ and the orchestra completes the programme with Beethoven’s Symphony No.3 ​‘Eroica’. Other performances of this residency include play-direct concerts in Vigo, Ourense, and Ferrol (16 – 18 November) featuring piano concertos Nos.20 and 23 by Mozart, and a piano solo recital at a later date. Perianes’ residency marks the 20^th anniversary of his debut with the orchestra, where he performed Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.9 ​“Jeunehomme”.
