Javier Perianes opens his 2022/23 residency with Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León and continues his residency with Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia with play-direct concerts in November. 

The concerts with Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León mark the beginning of his residency with the orchestra, with performances on 9 November in Medina del Campo Festival, 10 and 11 November in Valladolid, and on 12 November in Logroño. Perianes leads the orchestras in Mozart’s Piano Concerti No.20 and 23.

The residency continues in 2023 with Schumann’s Concerto for Piano Op.54 under the baton of Antony Hermus, with concerts on 25 and 26 May in the Miguel Delibes cultural centre, Valladolid. Perianes also performs a recital on 23 May, dedicated to Alicia de Larrocha on her centenary anniversary, featuring works by Falla, Debussy, Albéniz, and Granados’ Goyescas. Finally, a series of chamber concerts with Cuarteto Rivera featuring Schumann’s Piano Quintet Op.44 completes the week with performances on 27, 28 and 29 May in Valladolid, Salamanca and Burgos.

Perianes’ residency with Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia continues 16 – 19 November, play-directing Mozart’s Piano Concerti No.20 and 23 in Vigo, Ourense, and Ferrol.
