Eldbjørg Hemsing and Nil Venditti embark on their first collaboration together this month for two performances of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto with Royal Northern Sinfonia on 9 and 11 November in Middlesbrough Town Hall and Sage Gateshead, respectively. The eclectic spent programme features the joyful theme of dance and includes – alongside Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto – Mozart’s Overture from Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances, Fazil Say’s Symphonic Dances and Brahms’ Hungarian Dance No.10.
