14/10/2022
Tabita Berglund returns to Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra to conduct four performances in her second season as the orchestra’s first guest conductor. Joined by soloist Tanja Tetzlaff, Berglund kicks off her series of concerts on 20 October with an exciting programme including Prokofiev’s Symphony No.1 and his Sinfonia concertante for Cello and Orchestra and concludes with Sibelius’ Symphony No.7.
This season, Berglund will return to the orchestra for concerts on 10 November, 2 February, and 11 May, all of which take place in the orchestra’s state-of-the-art venue, Kilden Performing Arts Centre. A Nordic theme is present throughout much of the season’s programmes, as it was in Berglund’s previous season with the orchestra, with repertoire highlights also including Mahler’s Symphony No.1 and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.6.
