Tabita Berglund makes her German debut, opening Sinfonieorchester Wuppertal’s 2022/23 season with two concerts titled Northern Lights. The concerts, held on 11 and 12 September in the Historische Stadthalle Wuppertal, embrace an all-Nordic programme, opening with Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite No.1. The programme also features Sibelius’ Symphony No.1 as well as Norwegian composer Geirr Tveitt’s Concerto for Hardanger Fiddle No.2, featuring soloist and compatriot Ragnhild Hemsing. 

On 12 September, Berglund also participates in a concert introduction where she shares her thoughts on the programme and invites the audience into the Nordic sound world before the performance begins.
