Akiko Suwanai opens the first Far Eastern Classical Music Festival & returns to the Stresa Festival

The first edition of the Far Eastern Classical Music Festival showcases the rich musical culture of Japan and Japanese musicians. Akiko Suwanai joins the Ferenc Liszt Chamber Orchestra for a performance of Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.5, and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto alongside pianist Gábor Farkas and cellist István Várdai on 1 September, followed by a performance of Brahms’ Piano Quartet No.1 on the 2 September. The performances take place in Budapest’s newest venue, the House of Music, Hungary.
On 9 September, Akiko will return to the renowned Stresa Festival perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.5 with Basel Sinfonieorchester under the baton of Ivor Bolton.
