Following the recent release of Akiko’s new recording of Bach’s Complete Sonatas and Partitas for Universal Music Japan, she will perform selections from the work in concerts across Japan as part of the International Music Festival NIPPON, of which she is Artistic Director. Performances will take place on 9 February in Morioka, 11 and 13 February at Shirakawa Hall in Nagoya, and on 16 and 18 February at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall.
