Pablo Heras-Casado debuts at Teatro alla Scala with Don Giovanni

Pablo Heras-Casado conducts for the first time at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, with Mozart’s Don Giovanni. After two concerts that were initially scheduled for early 2020 conducting the Filarmónica della Scala, cancelled due to Covid-19, Heras-Casado marks a milestone in his career at one of the most historic theatres in the world. The Robert Carsen production runs from 27 March to 12 April, through seven performances, featuring a cast with Christopher Maltman in the title character, Hanna-Elisabeth Müller as Donna Anna, Bernard Richter as Don Ottavio, Alex Esposito as Leporello, Emily D’Angelo as Elvira, Andrea Carroll as Zerlina, Fabio Capitanucci as Masetto, Günther Groissböck and Jongmin Park, both as Commendatore.
