Mezzo-soprano Hongni Wu gives her first solo recitals this month on the mainstage of Guangzhou Opera House, and to a sold-out audience at Shanghai Symphony’s Chamber Hall. Wu sings a selection of Lieder from Strauss, and Gustav Mahler’s greatest cycles, Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen and Des Knaben Wunderhorn, accompanied by Fugen Wei.
