On 9 December Stephen Hough returns to the Orchestre National de France for a performance of Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No.4 together with conductor Omer Meir Wellber.

Broadcast live from the Maison de la Radio in Paris at 20:00, on France Musique, the concert opens with Dutilleux’s Correspondances and concludes with Schubert’s Symphony No.3. Stephen’s concerto performance follows a busy run of engagements in the UK including the London Philharmonic (Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3 with Principal Guest Conductor Karina Canellakis), BBC Philharmonic (Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No.4 with Carlo Goldstein) and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, performing Brahms’ Piano Concerto No.1 with new Chief Conductor Domingo Hindoyan.
