Stephen Hough returns to the Southbank Centre for a recital at the Royal Festival Hall. Part of the 2021/22 season’s International Piano Series and following on from his last IPS performance in 2018 – ​“full of depth and contrast, misty evocations and raw passion, and a pianist on top form” (Bachtrack) – his recital programme on  27 October traverses ​“epochs, countries and styles”, comprising works by Rawsthorne, Schumann, Hough and Chopin. 

On 1 December Hough is back at the Royal Festival Hall, joining Karina Canellakis and the players of the London Philharmonic Orchestra for a performance of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3.
