On 7, 8 and 9 October Gustavo Gimeno makes his first appearances with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. The programme opens with Ligeti’s Concert Românesc, a first performance for the orchestra, followed by Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2 with Augustin Hadelich. The concerts close with Rimsky-Korsakov’s ever-popular orchestral suite Scheherazade.

The final concert on 9 October is broadcast live in the Digital Concert Hall from 19:00 CEST.
