On 16 September Gustavo Gimeno opens the 2021/22 season at Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg. Soprano Diana Damrau performs a selection of songs by Richard Strauss, followed by Stravinsky’s ballet music The Firebird. The concert, which marks the beginning of Gimeno’s seventh year as Musical Director of the orchestra, will be broadcast live on national radio.
