On 28 August Gustavo Gimeno is joined by Christian Tetzlaff and Tonkünstler Orchestra for an open-air concert at the Wolkenturm, Grafenegg as part of their summer festival. Tetzlaff performs Brahms’ Violin Concerto, Op.77, and the programme is completed by two Richard Strauss’ works: the tone poem Tod und Verklärung, and the first waltz sequence from Der Rosenkavalier. The concert will be recorded for later broadcast on Austrian national radio.
