Pekka Kuusisto joins Orchestre chambre de Paris for a carte blanche concert at Enclos des Gobelins in Paris on 28 August. He conducts Farrenc Symphonie No. 3 and play-direct Andrea Tarrodi’s Birds of paradise, Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending, and of Daniel Kidane’s Be still.

Later in 2021, Kuusisto returns to Paris on 4 October for the French premiere of Thomas Adès’ Märchentänze for violin and piano performed with the composer at the Louis Vuitton Foundation. On 9 and 10 December, he returns to Orchestre de Paris for the French premiere of Bryce Dessner’s Violin Concerto, conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen.
